Welcome to ProTaskFinder ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Platform Overview

ProTaskFinder provides an online marketplace that connects users ("Clients") who need help with local tasks and independent contractors ("Task Pros") who offer such services. We do not perform tasks ourselves, employ Task Pros, or guarantee the quality or completion of any work.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

All Task Pros are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of ProTaskFinder.

We do not supervise, control, or direct the work performed by Task Pros, and Task Pros are solely responsible for determining how tasks are completed.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

4. Payments

All payments between Clients and Task Pros must be processed through the Platform's payment system.

You agree not to circumvent the Platform for payments or communications.

ProTaskFinder charges a service fee, which may be deducted from payments made to Task Pros. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe), and your use of payment features is subject to their terms and policies.

5. Damages, Losses, and Responsibility

ProTaskFinder does not provide insurance, guarantees, or protection for any damage, injury, loss, or theft that may occur in connection with a task.

Task Pros are solely responsible for any damage or injury resulting from their work.

Clients agree to pursue any dispute or claim directly with the Task Pro involved.

6. Dispute Resolution

We encourage Clients and Task Pros to resolve disputes directly.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you may contact our support team for mediation assistance, but we do not make binding determinations or guarantee outcomes.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Post false, misleading, or harmful information.
• Harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Circumvent payment systems or solicit off-platform work.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

ProTaskFinder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the service fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ProTaskFinder, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or any task performed or received.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
